CHRISTIANS AND THEM

There are roughly 4,200 religions in the world and as to which one is the true religion no one knows aside the Creator of the world.

History tells me that my forefathers were not Christians. In their part of the world, they never had any idea about it. They had their own religion but as to whether they were satisfied with the norms and practices to the extent of living a peaceful life, only they can tell.
Some people from the western part of the world wearing different skin color as if they have fallen into fire brought it. Aside stealing from my forefathers, they imposed it on them and through it, my forefathers were brutalized and abused. Through this same Christianity my forefathers lost their siblings and children to a place of no return - slavery. A new life befell them, it became part of everything they did as time evolved and through out our history we all have been Christians.

Do I hate them and what they did to my people? Yes, I did hate them but no more.
I have found a new love in Christianity. Wait! how can I love what was a tool to destroy my forefathers? None! People may say, "I have been engrossed in ignorance so much that my ability to reason and understand facts is beyond cure". It could be true but I still love being a Christian. I don't rejoice in what my forefathers went through.

To me the White men in the other way round were a tool for Christianity to spread so that I can have salvation. Being a Christian has caused me to lose a lot but I have won many and those that I have won exceed my ability. Through Christianity I have education today. I can read and write. I can travel across the oceans to achieve my dreams that MAY not be attainable in Africa. I have electricity, I have Internet and I can do a lot of things. I speak of power. I have been to the shores of death but Christianity brought me back when doctors said it was impossible. I speak of life today, I know Jesus Christ. I am His, He is mine. We are bound and for that I proclaim my life to be a miracle to the glorification of His name. You may disagree but that is me.

Despite all these, I hate most Christians and their practices and their way of life. Am I perfect? NO but I hate them when they think they actually made the rod Moses used to divide the sea into two. This world we live in has bred diverse opinions. Agnostics, atheists including the rest of the other religions (roughly 4200) live in it with a lot of questions been asked about the authenticity of Christianity and it's manual, THE HOLY BIBLE which contains the everlasting WORD OF GOD but the right answers have not been provided because we probably don't know all. Most of these people who to them Christianity is a sham were once Christians regardless of the fact that they were born into it. All they need are answers even if their agenda is to punch holes in the bible. There is a possibility they lost a thing or two that pushed them away. What you have lost could be bigger than theirs but not everyone has the strength to endure an aching incident.

However, one thing I have noticed about today's Christians is most act as if they provided bulbs and pressed the switch on button when God said "let there be light". Disagree on a biblical quote and/or it's explanation and you will be branded as the walking stick of Satan even if you yourself is a Christian. They can't be involved in an intellectual discourse without attacking the 'hard drive' in your head. For all you know, God doesn't even recognize you.

There are numerous religions in the world but we Christians like the others believe ours is the only way. What shows? The bible says we are the ambassadors and if that is what we truly are then our actions and the manner in which we approach questions brought to us for answers must be in accordance to what we carry in us. Words are powerful and due to that be careful your emotions don't get the better part of you.

Be a blessing to someone!
